This is the last in a series of webinars that look at how countries have put into practice the Model National Response in different regions of the world. WeProtect Global Alliance’s Model National Response is a framework that aims to help countries build their response to child sexual exploitation and abuse online.

This webinar will provide a deep dive into the Framing the Future report, a recent update of the Model National Response and the new tools related to the Model National Response – i.e., the Maturity Model and self-assessment tool.

There will also be a presentation focusing on how Jordan is implementing the Model National Response.

Overview of the webinar

The webinar will explore several critical topics: 

• A deep dive into the Framing the Future report, a review of the Model National Response that sets out how and where the MNR has been implemented in the six years since its introduction across 42 Alliance countries.
• An introduction of the WeProtect Model National Response Maturity Model and self-assessment tool – two tools to help facilitate tailored national responses to child sexual abuse and exploitation online.
• Mr. Abdalraheem Bani Essa, Head of Online Child Sexual Exploitation, Family Protection and Juvenile Department, Jordan, will share how Jordan is using the Model National Response in their response against child sexual exploitation and abuse online, the challenges they have encountered, and the lessons they have learnt.
