With women and children representing 95% of all trafficking victims for the purpose of sexual exploitation, there is no better time to act than now, and with the majority of human trafficking cases that we’ve been detecting lately having at least one online element, it is imperative that we include this dimension in the solutions we are implementing.
This joint side event during the sixty-seventh session of the Commission on the Status of Women is hosted by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), UN Women, Coalition Against Trafficking in Women (CATW) and Equality Now.
