WeProtect Global Alliance is sincerely grateful to Mr Omar Mir for his generous personal donations in support of our work. 

Omar is the World Wide Technology (WWT) International Board Member, leading their international business. He has spearheaded WWT’s international expansion since 2015, establishing its UK base and driving the business from inception to over $18 billion in organic international revenue. He is also the benefactor of the WWT Middle East and Africa entity based in Abu Dhabi. Omar is responsible for positioning the company as a world-class strategic partner in cutting-edge AI, advanced technologies, and innovations globally, closely aligning with global centers of AI in the USA, UK, Europe and the UAE. 

In addition to his role at WWT, Omar serves as an advisor, investor, and board member to leading companies, think tanks, and institutions. He is also the Chair of AI and Advanced Technologies for the Sustainable Markets Initiative to HM King Charles III and the King’s Trust International Advisor on AI and Advanced Technology. Omar is a major serial investor in a multitude of US government-backed disruptive innovative technology and big tech corporations, with an excellent track record of success. 

He is actively involved in projects that positively impact the environment, enhance education, promote inclusion, improve healthcare, advance women’s rights and mitigate climate change. Omar is particularly dedicated to driving equality and transforming lives and communities, having personally supported over 50,000 children through educational initiatives. 

Outside of his professional endeavours, Omar’s commitment to empowering humanity is evident through his roles as the Principal Benefactor of HM King Charles III The King’s Trust International, the Founding Principal of King’s Trust International Campaign Generation Potential, and Dwight D. Opperman Foundation Board Member.  

Omar is currently an observer to the WeProtect Global Alliance Policy Board.
