Understanding and responding to harmful sexual behaviours in children

25 September 2025 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm BST

(14.00 BST; 16.00 EAT; 09.00 ET)

About the event

The prevalence of children under the age of 18 who have displayed harmful sexual behaviour in online, offline or blended spaces, is a rising global concern. Despite growing awareness, the global response to this problem is currently fragmented, reactive, and disconnected from the lived realities of young people.

On Thursday, 25 September, WeProtect Global Alliance, as part of the Safe Futures Hub, will host a webinar to officially launch a vital new research report. We will provide insight into the complex and evolving nature of what harmful sexual behaviours are, as well as appropriate and effective interventions to reduce them based on evidence-informed practices.

Attendees will leave the session with a deepened understanding and actionable recommendations for strengthening prevention and response efforts across a range of sectors.

Learn more about the webinar and register today via the Safe Futures Hub.
