Global Threat Assessment 2025 webinar series: age restrictions in legislation

14 October 2026 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm BST

(12.00 BST; 14.00 EAT; 07.00 EST)

About the event

The third webinar in the series will focus on age restrictions in legislation. A number of governments have introduced age restrictions in legislation, taking various approaches. The GTA 2025 highlighted several examples, including Brazil, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore, as well as a number of others.

As legislation begins to take effect, it is important to hear from leading experts in order to understand and examine these approaches and ensure they protect children as effectively as possible.

This webinar is part of a series designed to spotlight the key themes emerging from the Global Threat Assessment 2025 (GTA 2025). The series aims to bring together members and other key stakeholders to deepen their understanding of the report’s findings, foster opportunities for meaningful dialogue, and inspire actionable steps for implementation across their respective fields and organisations.
